Retro Computer Festival 2024

Description

Visitors to the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum will talk to the exhibitors, learn more about this hobby and see dozens of historical computers in particular in function. The focus of this RCF is the graphical user interface. First realized at the Xerox Alto about 50 years ago, this revolutionary principle only prevailed in the 1980s with computers such as Apple Lisa or Macintosh. In addition to the exhibition, workshops and lectures are also planned. Admission to the RCF and the HNF is free on both days. The Retro Computer Festival is a joint event of the HNF with the Dortmund Retro Computer Treffen (DoReCo).
